FMST 350/A (Winter 2025): STUDIES IN FILM GENRES:

Calendar Description
Prerequisite: Two of FMST 201, 202 or 203; FMST 220; or
permission of the School of Cinema.
This course involves intensive analysis of one or two film
genres, which assumes previous experience in film-genre
studies. The genre is discussed in terms of its structural
characteristics and the ways in which it is a product of
specific social situations. Weekly screenings.
