GEOG 203/A (Fall 2024): CANADIAN ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES

The course examins the diversity and complexity of Canadian environmental issues from an interdisciplinary perspective. Natural science considerations are explored as well as the relationship of scientific understanding to policy and wider social action. Issus addressed include (in the domains of) fisheries, forest, biodiversity conservation, protected areas, energy and climate change.
