
DART 261/A (Fall 2024): INTRODUCTION TO DESIGN STUDIES
Through readings, lectures, and dialogue, this course examines key themes in design and cultural history and theory, from industrialization to the twenty-first century, with an emphasis on their ongoing relevance in the contemporary realm. Effective research methods in the discipline are introduced to facilitate development of students’ analytical and critical abilities, both oral and written.
