PRIN 211/B (Winter 2024): INTAGLIO I
This introductory studio course in intaglio techniques focuses on creative imagery. This course covers traditional techniques and photo‑based processes. Assignments, lectures, and critiques focus on theoretical, historical, and aesthetic issues in contemporary print media.
Through assignments, group critiques, and individual discussions with the instructor, students investigate print media in the context of contemporary culture and explore the theoretical and aesthetic issues in the creation of printed artworks.
