DART 280/B (Winter 2024): INVESTIGATIONS/TYPOG. DESIGN
Typography is language made visible. In this studio course students will learn to see, understand, and manipulate typographic form as a powerful communicative tool. Design briefs and exercises will move students from the study of typeface design and the drawing of letterforms to the composition of texts, grids and multi-page printed document design.
