I.  DESCRIPTION

A comprehensive course introducing students to the art of digital 3D animation. Prerequisite: Enrolment in a Film Animation program; FMAN 204, 256; or written permission of the School of Cinema. An intensive technical course in the art and creation of 3D computer graphics. Students learn to use 3D software and related applications for 3D computer modelling, texturing, rigging, animation and lighting. NOTE: Students who have received credit for FMAN 353 or 354 may not take this course for credit. NOTE: Students are required to bear the cost of all necessary equipment, software and production materials for the course as described in the syllabus.
