BIOL 511/01 (Fall, 2023): STRUCTURAL GENOMICS
Genome structures, primarily yeast and human, DNA sequencing, roles of genomic elements, comparitive genome studies. This course provides an overview of genome analysis including: cloning systems; sequencing strategies; methods of detecting genes and approaches to mapping genomes. It covers the theory and design of the different approaches, and the analysis of genomic data generated from them.
