ACTT 498/B (Fall, 2023): SPECIAL TOPICS IN ACTING
This course is aimed at developing an actor’s understanding and ability in interpreting and performing Heightened Text, which may include classical texts, poetic drama, and contemporary works. Through in-depth analysis and creative exploration of texts/ plays/ poems, students will examine each writer’s use of language, which includes rhythm, sound, and imagery and patterns in order to enhance their performance of these texts.
