The Sustainability Ambassadors Program (SAP) provides students with leadership experience, engagement opportunities, skills, and competencies that support a culture of sustainability on campus.
Students connect with a nexus of changemakers to design and implement projects that inspire peers to take sustainable action. The Moodle page houses all of the resources needed to successfully complete the SAP, including submission deadlines for various parts of the project

This course, developed by Concordia University's Office of Sustainability in collaboration with the fee-levy non-profit, Sustainable Concordia, prepares students to volunteer on campus with various sustainability initiatives across campus.
The training is divided up into 2 videos, together equaling a little over 30 minutes. After Part 1, students are asked to complete a multiple choice quiz to test their knowledge about campus sustainability groups, departments, and initiatives. They will then complete the Part 2 video, which is followed up with a short answer quiz.
By the end of these videos and quizzes, students will be able to:
- Create an understandable, action-based definition for sustainability that can be uses with peers
- Explain the web of sustainability and begin navigating it as a student
- Describe what Concordia’s main goals are in the Sustainability Action Plan
- Confidently approach peers to address sustainability issues
